FASTDOG Green Lipped Mussel Powder (Perna canaliculus) is a unique mussel species found in the marine waters of New Zealand. These green mussels are a natural source of omega-3 fatty acids, glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), glucosamine, chondroitin, amino acids, and also contain minerals and vitamins.

Omega-3 fatty acids (especially EPA and DHA) may have an anti-inflammatory effect . In addition, GAGs, glucosamine, and chondroitin are raw materials for building joint cartilage and producing synovial fluid (the joint lubricant).
